At the registration deadline (11 January), 3370 masters from 52 countries in the world have been registered for the 3. Indoor World Championships in Clermont Ferrand (FRA).

Because of the possibility of late registration (possible until 10 February at 50,00 EURO extra fee), it is to be expected that the past record (Linz 2006: 3336) might be exceeded.

At the present entry status, the host country of France is leading with 1181 (Linz: 185) followed by Germany 367 (890), Spain 327 (94), Italy 312 (355), Great Britain & NI. 285 (277), the USA 116 (97), Russia 74 (57), the Netherlands 63 (64), Belgium 56 (63) and Czech Republic of 43 (93).
